As a Partner at a Top-Tier Venture Capital Firm...
...I’ve been on the other side of the table, making decisions on which startups to invest in. I understand how VCs think, what drives their decisions, and how they evaluate founders. I’ll share these insights with you, so you can approach your fundraising with the knowledge and confidence that only an insider can offer.

As a Successful Business Angel and Startup Advisor...
...I’ve helped dozens of companies raise successful funding rounds from top-tier VCs. My hands-on experience in guiding startups through the complexities of fundraising has given me a deep understanding of what works—and what doesn’t. You’ll benefit from the strategies and tactics I’ve refined over years of working closely with founders just like you.

As a Fundraising Founder Myself...
...I’ve been in the trenches, raising capital for my own venture. I’ve experienced both the highs of successful fundraising rounds and the challenges of ones that didn’t go as planned. This unique perspective allows me to empathize with the challenges you’re facing and equip you with the tools to overcome them.

I have helped numerous founders with their fundraising. Here’s what some of them have to say:

Founder & CEO at Homer.co

"I highly recommend that all founders take 'The Art of Fundraising' course before starting their fundraising efforts, like I did with Homer. It’s an excellent program that thoroughly covers the entire fundraising process and is packed with actionable insights and effective tactics."

Wilhelm Hammes
CEO & Co-Founder at PLANTED.GREEN

Looking for a hands-on and superb fundraising course? I looked at numerous fundraising courses in the past, and honestly, you only need The Art of Fundraising. This is also part of the reason, why we are 150% oversubscribed in our current round.

🔥Limited bonus:

While the on-demand format has its benefits, I cherish the one-on-one interactions for both personal insights and the opportunity to delve deeper into the specific challenges faced by each participant.
I’m excited to offer a dedicated one-on-one strategy session upon completing the course. This session allows you to ask questions and gain clarity on the masterclass topics that are most relevant to your venture capital journey.
However, I must limit this exclusive bonus to the first 50 participants who secure their spot in the training. I do not offer consulting services on an hourly basis, so this strategy session alone holds significant value and is worth the investment in the course.
All I ask is that you complete all course modules before our one-on-one chat to maximize the benefit.

My story and why I built this course:

I stumbled into the tech industry by accident. After the financial crisis left me jobless, I applied to an obscure online gaming company I had never heard of, located in an industrial park on the outskirts of Stockholm. I was hired, apparently, because I was the only applicant who showed up in a suit.
At King.com, which later became one of Europe's largest tech exits with a $7B IPO, I had the opportunity to build an ad sales business that generated annual revenues of about €4M. I quickly ditched the suit and embraced my new path in tech.
However, as a typical impatient twenty-something, I grew bored and relocated to Berlin in 2011 to explore the emerging tech scene. Shortly after, I was approached by a promising young startup called Spotify to help launch their operations in Germany. I accepted, and over the next seven years, I managed the Spotify Global Markets team, launching and overseeing Spotify in over 60 countries.
Feeling exhausted, I left Spotify without a solid plan, but eager to step away from operations. Conversations with former colleagues led me to EQT Ventures. I established the firm’s presence in Germany, invested, served on boards, and supported portfolio companies for about four years.
While investing was rewarding, I realized that the VC lifestyle wasn’t for me. Also - I had an itch to scratch... Shortly after leaving EQT Ventures, I co-founded informed. We raised two significant funding rounds, but were hit hard when the market turned. While the company continues to thrive, I am no longer involved.
After 13 years in Berlin, my family and I moved 1,400 kilometers north to the quaint village of Duved, part of the Åre mountain resort, in search of a different lifestyle.
Now, I spend more time with my family as well as skiing, biking and running up and down the mountains.
Professionally, I’m focused on what I love and have always done on the side throughout my active career: angel investing and working closely with passionate founders.

I also finally had the opportunity to create this course:

In 2022, I ran a cohort-based live course that cost €1.5k and was limited to just 10 participants. While the feedback was fantastic, a live course was too much work.
Thus, during the summer of 2024, I revamped the course and distilled my 15 years of experience as a VC partner, angel investor, startup advisor, and fundraising founder into The Art of Fundraising. After gathering valuable feedback from 10 beta testers, I officially launched The Art of Fundraising in September 2024.
At just €399, it costs less than starting a business in most countries. But that's the way I want it - I want as many founders as possible to become master fundraisers.
Now that you know my story, I invite you to enroll in the course. I look forward to seeing you in the complimentary one-on-one strategy session!

🙋‍♀️ Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this course for?
This course is designed for founders with limited fundraising experience—those who may have raised an angel round and are now looking to secure a seed round from VCs, or who have struggled with fundraising in the past. However, seasoned fundraisers have also found immense value in the course, and VCs and business angels have participated as well.
Do I need a basic knowledge of venture capital?
To get the most out of the course, a basic understanding of venture capital is helpful. Don’t worry if you’re new to it—I’ve created background videos that cater to different levels of familiarity, ensuring you can benefit from the more in-depth modules.
How do I know venture capital is right for me?
That’s a complex question with a nuanced answer. Many participants have discovered, after taking the course, that venture capital may not be the right fit for them—saving them time and frustration.
How long do I have access to the course?
You’ll have six months of access to all course materials, including updates. If you need more time, just reach out, and we can work something out.
I’m unsure if this course is a good fit for my company?
If you have any doubts, don’t hesitate to message me on LinkedIn. We can set up a call and together we can find out if this course is for you.
Isn’t the course a bit expensive? Can’t I learn this for free?
No, you can’t. Fundraising is best taught by someone with real-world experience. While you can find information from blogs and social media, you won't receive a battle-tested, vetted fundraising strategy like you will in The Art of Fundraising. Starting a company in most European countries costs around €1,000—at €399, this course is a steal.
